Good God, Bad World? Conversation Between Juan Carlos and a Billionaire Named Yu

My God, Bad World? If the original material (GOD) is so benevolent and wants a win / win for all, why are there so many bad things (eg, sadness, cruelty, murder, war, illness, psychopathic serial killers, etc.) in our world? Is it only our free will, our ability to create our own life decisions? “I asked. As a child I spent most of my Sunday sitting in church, while my father delivered his sermons. Despite this early religious training, the conflict between what I heard in church and what I actually saw was a lifelong puzzling and nagging problem for me. This issue (the concept of a watchful, benevolent God in a world where bad things have happened) was one of the main reasons I was never a “religious” man. Along with some pretty nasty, shocking, heartbreaking and soul wrenching experiences in the military, I finished early in life that almost everything was a series of random events, especially when I was witnessing the death (among patients, the enemy, many of my soldiers, and even my father) that could not be attributed to something other than “bad luck.” Often, especially when a life event happened that I could not understand, I remember the funny little prayer that my first operational Gunnery Sergeant would say before we went on a mission. The prayer reflected his simplistic view of the world and God. When we have completed all of the latest controls and before we began the operational phase of each mission, the Gunnery Sergeant insisted that all we bow my head in prayer. Of course, we all observed, mainly because we respected him and feared him (or both). Then he would say: “Dear Lord, thank you for always rooting for the home team. And forgive the enemy for being on the wrong side,” Amen! “He was quite comfortable with its dichotomous belief. For him it was only right or wrong, black or white with no shades of gray. And in his little world, you were either a friendly force to support, or you were the enemy – someone to say before they were stopped by him! I could never fully accept this kind of view. I saw too many things in my life that could not be neatly categorized in the “great camp” or “bad camp.” In contrast to the Gunnery Sergeant, I could not blindly accept the “God is always on our side and everything that can be set in the Great box well, or the big box BAD “belief. Sometimes I wish I could, but I’ve always had long-standing questions. Yu finished his beer, wiped his chin with the back of his hand, and began to speak slowly and deliberately. “JC, I was wondering when you would ask that question. It is highly relevant for all that we have discussed today. I’ll try to explain as best I can. First of all, nothing is good or bad until we say it is. In other words, until we ascribe a positive or negative connotation to something, that something is fair. “It is a story about the Taoist tell about two farmers. A farmer horse runs away. Neighbor State farmer tells the horse’s owner that he is tired so terrible has happened and now the farmer has to do their work without the help of a strong animal. The owner says only: “Who’s to say what is terrible and what is not?” The day the horse returned with a herd of horses he was familiar with while you’re away. neighbor tells the farmer that it is great that such a good thing has happened and that Now his harvesting can be tripled. The owner says simply: “Who’s to say what is good and what is not?” A few days later, the owner’s son tries to ride a wild horse, falls from horse and breaks his leg. Again, the owner tells his neighbor that he is sad to see such a terrible thing to happen to his son, and that now is the workload will be doubled. The owner simply says: “Who’s to say what is horrible, and what is not?” The day Government soldiers walk up to the farms. The force is recruiting young men into the army to fight a war. They have taken all able-bodied young men from neighboring farms, but let the owner’s son because he has a broken leg. You see, JC, nothing is good or bad until we say it is. It can all be good, or it could all be bad. It’s your choice. Never forget that the original substance (GOD) is everywhere and knows everything, things that we never come close to understanding. If you need to do something “bad” just remember that in every bad situation, it is always good to be gained from it, and that in all so-called problem or obstacle is the seed for its solution, that something greater can be obtained. You just have to look for it! As far as freedom of choice issue goes, yes, we have free will. The Original Material (GOD) does not and will not dictate our personal choices in life, it only supports them. And remember the law of cause and effect go hand in hand with the Law of Attraction. Call it what you will: Sowing and reaping, karma, or “What Goes Around comes around”, etc., but you literally coming back and attract what you are straight out. It is true that no bad deed goes unpunished. If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Of course the reverse also true. Good deeds always result in some kind of kindness comes back to you. In fact, in both scenarios, the result that “rebounds” back from the universe will often be many times greater than it originally was “thrown” out there. Here’s a simplified explanation of this “multiplied rebound” phenomena. When you act or think, did the effect of your actions and thoughts spread out through the universe as waves when a stone is thrown into calm water. As your effects travel throughout the universe, they touch everything in its path. In turn, those concerned – from the furthest to the nearest – respond with their own “ripples” back at you. Each post is added to the group “back ripples,” became a “back surge.” Depending on how far in the universe, and how many were affected by your thoughts or actions, the cumulative return from the Universe be the size of a small wave, or the size of a good surf wave, or the size of a huge tsunami! So, JC, saying that the original substance (GOD) is responsive to all is a true statement. Things are things, events are events, they just “are.” We make them “good or bad” of our thinking. For example, a person can enjoy sky diving, and believe it is the most exciting experience on the ground, while another person may be terrified of skydiving and instantly become nauseated by the mere thought of “jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.” We attribute our own “goodness and deleted” things we see and experience, even if we never get the big picture, do not we ever understand a sliver of the original substance (GOD) knows. And the bad guys in the world? Be assured that the original substance (GOD) has already set down universal laws that guarantee those people will always get what they deserve in the form of a big payback! The Original Material (GOD) will ensure that its universal laws performed perfectly, without prejudice, all the time. My personal philosophy is that “It’s all good.” If something seems to be “bad” that only means I have to look harder. I accept the fact that I will never know everything there is to know about life and the universe. That’s the original material is (God’s) job. My job is to do things in certain way, creating rather than compete. This allows me to be, do and have everything I can possibly be, do and have. Finally, I get more joy, the original substance (GOD) gets more joy, and others will be inspired to do the same. “ Until now I had never heard any justification which came close to solving my personal “Good God, Bad World” problems. Yu is concise disclosure of the universe made a hell of a lot more sense than all the sermons and theological treatises I had listened in recent times. A huge light turned on in my head. I had the power to make life experiences “good” or “bad” only by my thoughts! And, as if he had waived a mysterious magic wand and cast spells, something happened miraculously me. Suddenly, all the seemingly “bad” experiences from my past did not seem to bother me anymore. I did not realize I had been carrying around so much excess weight, as an invisible sixty-five pound backpack full of bad memories. I did not forget the memories, they were still there. They were just now weightless, neutral, neither good or bad. Perhaps in the future I would take time to sift through them and find the good? Listen to and understand the explanation Yu felt weightless too; satisfied – almost euphoric. The feeling was delicious. It was like waking up in the morning from a long sleep and see the first rays of the sun on my boyfriend’s beautiful face. . . Believe that the school was too boring, he dropped out of high school early, only to earn an AA, BS, and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full time as a Navy / Marine Corps Medic. Despite the fear of heights and deep water, he free-fall parachuted out of airplanes and performed diving ops in very deep, open ocean water. He went to Thailand 1 year ago after a week’s vacation, fell into a teaching job, and has never left!
